I painted this panel (may, 1989) six months before the wall of Berlin destruction, two years before the sovietic empire ending, for the Bank Workers Syndicate (Paraíba, Brazil) Restaurant, like Leonardo’s “Last Supper” was made for the Monk’s Restaurant (Milan, Italy).
You see, here, Mao Tse-tung, Ho-Chi-Minh, Trotsky, Allend, Marx, Guevara, Lenin, Stalin, Fidel… and Gorbachev with the hand on the head. |
