Artist's Comments
I selected two sunny photos of my friend Durval Leal: one with the landscape, other with the cart and ox. Then I used the old movies effect called " nuit américaine" ( day for night), when they used to film nocturne scenes by day, with special filters in the camera. After, I painted without the collors of the day lights, and added the stars on the sky, getting the famous moonlight of our " sertões" , in our arid and remote interior.
